Nor do they put new wine into old Wineskins;
Instead, the new wine is put into new Wineskins, and both are preserved.
Otherwise, the Wineskins rupture, and the wine pours out, and the Wineskins are destroyed.
These Wineskins were new when we filled them, but now they are old and split open.
Here are our Wineskins, which were new when we filled them, but now they are torn.
These Wineskins, which we filled, were new;

They also resorted to a ruse, and went and made as if they had been ambassadors,
and took old sacks on their donkeys, and Wineskins, old and torn and bound up.
Neither do men put new wine into old Wineskins: else the Wineskins break,
and the wine runs out, and the Wineskins perish: but they put new wine into new Wineskins, and both are preserved.- Matthew 9:17.
